Now that you’ve read about Stake.Cafe’s mission! Let’s talk about how we will put it in action.

As you’ve read in the previous articles, these are the breakdowns:

Today, we’re only going to write about the 20% CAFE contribution to entities-in-need (EIN). Please refer here to understand our motivation behind our unique use case.

This is the work flow we have in mind:

  1. Receive 20% of the 10% daily emitted CAFEs into a “donation” wallet. Addresses for all allocations above will be PUBLIC. Keep in mind, the more farmers who add to the liquidity pool, the less slippage and more potential value the benefactors will receive! Please spread our mission!
  2. Every week, we will have a set cut-off date/time where we will convert the donation funds from the wallet into a fiat-pegged crypto (FPC) (e.g. BUSD). We will donate this FPC using a medium to the benefactors!
  3. In the future, we MAY develop partnership(s) with crypto payment processing firm(s) to enact the change. This way the benefactors will receive their country’s currency immediately. There will be more announcements on these partnerships later.
  4. To ensure 1 community voter = 1 vote across Stake.Cafe, we will add a mechanism that ensures that you can vote as long as you have your BSC wallet connected to Stake.Cafe! We will provide visual steps in future tutorials as we get closer to official launch.
  5. At day 1 of the weekly donation cycle, we will have a separate page on the stake.cafe webpage. This webpage will use an embedded third-party form to start. As we acquire more resources, we will dedicate more effort to design our own forms and feeds.
  6. The community will choose a category e.g. Mental Health, Poverty, <Food, Farm, etc.> Industry. The admin team will choose these topics ahead of time.
  7. We will conclude this category at the end of Day 3. If no category has been chosen by the community at Day 3’s end, the admin will choose the category. After, we will have the community vote on specific organizations in that category. This will be done using an embedded third-party form initially.
  8. We will conclude this selection at the end of Day 6. If no selection has been chosen by the community at Day 3’s end, the admin will choose the selection.
  9. On Day 7, we will convert CAFE into an FPC to start processing the donation. Win!

This is the workflow we have in mind. As we donate more, we will iterate through this workflow to optimize and streamline. For example, if our project grows 5x the users, we will have specific voting mechanisms to specific geographic regions. We will assign region leaders to each of these areas and have them run their processes.

In the meantime, let’s run this initial phase for at least 8 donation cycles before we move onto Phase 2 (Q3/Q4 NFT). We’re in market discovery phase, so there are corner cases, exceptions, and hidden processes we need to catch before moving on. We want to make sure our future NFT platform provides the best experience from the start. Let’s prove our use case’s adoption and build partnerships along the way to grow our mission.

Our vision is: “Fulfillment through enriching others”. This will not change! However, we will always strive to improve our processes to donate to more organizations at any given time.

We’re going to be pushing out more technical articles next on how we’re going to leverage NFT to advance our vision. Please join our community here to find out more and thank you for reading!
